Stack's Bowers October 2024 Collector's Choice sale, lot 74484

This specimen was lot 74484 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $192. The catalog description^[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA. Silver 8 Dollars (5 Ounces), 2015-P. Perth Mint. Elizabeth II. NGC PROOF-69 Ultra Cameo. Koala issue. A charming high relief type with bold cameo features. Certified by NGC as a 'One of First 800 Struck'. Sold with the original box and certificate of authenticity." Another one of the innumerable NCLT's pouring out of the Perth mint. This one was features the koala.

Recorded mintage: 1,033 proofs.

Specification: 155.5 g, 0.999 fine silver, 60.6 mm diameter, reeded edge.
