This specimen was lot 2046 in Goldberg sale 115 (Los Angeles, February 2020), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "Australia. Silver 8 Dollars, 2013-P. Year of The Snake. Contains 5 ounce of 999 fine silver. One of first 1,000 struck. NGC graded Proof 69 Ultra Cameo." This NCLT is part of a large suite of gold and silver issues of the Perth mint, marketed to collectors of the Chinese zodiac. The SCWC also lists:

  • 1000 dollars (KM 2000, 10 oz gold),
  • 3000 dollars (KM 2001, 1 kg gold). And there may be others.
