Stack's Bowers September 2025 Collectors Choice sale, lot 74171

This specimen was lot 74171 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $192. The catalog description^[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA. 5 Dollars, 2015-P. Perth Mint. Lunar Series, Year of the Goat. Elizabeth II. PCGS MS-70." Another one of the innumerable NCLT's pouring out of the Perth mint. This one was features the goat, one of the animals of the Chinese zodiac.

Recorded mintage: 66,693 plus 3,797 "colorized".

Specification: 1.55 g, 0.999 fine gold, 14 mm diameter, reeded edge.
