This specimen was lot 1605 in Goldberg Sale 139 (Los Angeles, June 2024), where it sold for $2,292. The catalog description[1] noted, "Australia. 100 Dollars, 1991. Elizabeth II. Reverse: Gray Kangaroo standing looking left. Brilliant Uncirculated." Other issues of this denomination for 1990 include KM 149 (platinum koala) and KM 169 (gold kangaroo). This design also appeared in 1990.
