This specimen was part of lot 33548 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $1,560. The catalog description[1] noted, "Australia: Elizabeth II 5-Piece Uncertified platinum Koala Set 1989, includes 5, 15, 25, 50, and 100 Dollars, KM 122-126. All are Proof UNC and are housed in original and attractive wooden case. Total APW 1.900 oz." A silver five dollars struck in 1989 featured the red kangaroo.
