This specimen was lot 23538 in Heritage sale 3015 (Long Beach, September 2011), where it sold for $8,625. The catalog description[1] noted, "George V Shilling 1915H, MS61 PCGS, highly lustrous with full crownband details, rare date/mint in mint state." The type was struck 1911-36 at London, Melbourne and Heaton (this specimen). This is the only date from the Heaton Mint.

Recorded mintage: 500,000.

Specification: 5.65 g, 0.925 fine silver, .168 troy oz ASW, 23.5 mm diameter, reeded edge, designed by E. B MacKennal and W. H. J. Blakemore.
