Sincona sale 51, lot 3135

This specimen was lot 3135 in Sincona sale 51 (Zürich, October 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"Augsburg, Stadt, Halbtaler 1694. Walzenprägung. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Germany, city of Augsburg, half thaler of 1694. Rotated strike, Very fine-extremely fine.)"

This one year type was accompanied by a quarter thaler (KM 103), thaler (KM 105) and double thaler (KM 108).

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: silver, this specimen 14.49 g.
