Stephen Album sale 38, lot 3356
Germany SA38-3356r.jpg

This specimen was lot 3356 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $101.15. The catalog description[1] noted, "ANHALT-BERNBURG: Viktor II Friedrich, 1721-1765, AR 8 groschen, 1758, NGC graded MS62." This is a scarce one year type. The eight gute groschen struck in Hannover was worth a quarter thaler, so we presume this is the same.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: silver.

Catalog reference: KM-42.2.
