This specimen was lot 2026 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €500 (about US$708 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHE MÜNZEN UND MEDAILLEN · ANHALT-BERNBURG, FÜRSTENTUM Victor Friedrich, 1721-1765. 1/3 Taler 1744, Harzgerode. RR Kl. Randfehler, leicht gereinigt, sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Germany, principality of Anhalt-Bernburg, Victor Frederick, 1721-65, one-third thaler of 1744, Harzgerode mint. Very rare, small edge defects, lightly cleaned, very fine to extremely fine.)"
This scarce type was struck again in 1750.
