Shown is an 1891Pi R five centavos, of a type struck at the Potosi mint 1869-81, 1886-93. This issue is one of the plentiful dates, even in nice condition. Overdates 1891/89 and 1891/0 are noted. Other mints include Hermosillo, Culiacan, Durango, Guanajuato, Chihuahua, Potosi, Guadalajara, Oaxaca, Alamos and Mexico City. An overdate, 1891/0, is recorded for the year.

Specification: 1.35 g, .903 fine silver, .039 troy oz ASW.

Recorded Mintage: 176,000.
