This specimen was lot 4792 in Sincona sale 39 (Zürich, May 2017), where it sold for 3,400 CHF (about US$4,078 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Zürich, Doppeldukat 1753. Selten. Fast vorzüglich. (canton of Zürich, double ducat of 1753. Rare. About extremely fine.)"
This scarce type was struck 1718-67 along with half (Fr-487a) and single ducats.
