Wm. Rosenblum sale 42, lot 159

This type was struck in Bolivia 1773-89. Two assayers are recorded for 1776, JR (scarce, shown here) and PR (common). Harris[2] notes that Potosi two reales of Charles III are the commonest mint, ahead of Mexico City. This specimen is from a William Rosenblum sale (Littleton, CO, February 2012), where it sold for $151.

Specification: 6.77 g, 0.903 fine silver, .196 troy oz ASW.
