Heritage sale 3029, lot 30694

This specimen was lot 31753 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $470. The catalog description[1] noted, "Carl IX Mark 1606, AU Details (Scratches) NGC. Nicely struck and attractive, very light scratches in the fields." This type is listed for 1604-06 and is scarce.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 4.93 g, 0.021 fine silver (probably a misprint for .821 fine).
