This specimen was lot 30964 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $1,645. The catalog description[1] noted, "Carl IX 4 Ore 1606, MS63 NGC. A marvelous example of this very scarce type with exceptionally sharp design features and nearly full mint luster. The balance of toning and mint brilliance is highly attractive and creates immediate eye appeal. Rare in this elite grade and certainly among the finer pieces extant." This type is listed for 1605-06 and was valued at half a mark. The last four ore (KM 257) were 2.92 g, .375 fine silver.
