This specimen was lot 50428 in Heritage sale 3020 (Long Beach, September 2012), where it sold for $301. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Augsburg. Taler, 1643. This type was struck 1639-45 in sufficient numbers that the coin is fairly common today in circulated condition. The bishop of Augsburg also struck thalers but they are rare.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: silver.

Catalog reference: Dav-5039; KM-77.
