Great Britain 1901 6 pence
This specimen was lot 71195 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2022), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 6 Pence, 1901. London Mint. Victoria. NGC MS-66. Displaying with deep blue toning, this Gem example is quite attractive and well made. A wonderful representative of the final year issue for the type. Ex: Mildenhall Collection." This sixpence, roughly equal to a dime, was struck 1893-1901 and is common in all grades.
