This specimen was lot 75114 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 6 Pence, 1897. London Mint. Victoria. PCGS MS-65." This type was struck 1893-1901 and is the final type for Queen Victoria (r. 1837-1901). It is the most readily available sixpence in nice condition and none of the dates are rare.

Recorded mintage: 5,031,000.

Specification: 2.82 g, 0.925 fine silver, 19.5 mm diameter, reeded edge.
