This specimen was lot 71447 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2021), where it sold for $115. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Penny, 1901. London Mint. Victoria. NGC MS-65 Red. Radiant and highly robust, this Gem exudes a great deal of brilliance and a delightful palette on each side." This type, the last half penny issued for Victoria, was minted 1895-1901. All dates are common.
