Geneva 1621-G sol

This specimen was lot 3259 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 120 CHF (about US$159 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, 1 Sol 1621, Genf. Mzz. G. Selten. Schön-sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, one sol of 1621, Geneva mint, mintmark "G". Rare, Fine-very fine.)"
This type was struck 1604-06, 1609-12, 1619-22 and is fairly available in low grade but very scarce nice. One thaler was 96 sols and one sol was four quarts.
