This specimen was lot 3104 in Künker sale 405 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €11,000 (about US$14,433 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DIE REICHSSTADT REGENSBURG. DIE ZEIT DES KAISERS FERDINAND III. Dukat 1638, mit Titel Ferdinands III. Münzmeister Johann Putzer. Die gekreuzten Stadtschlüssel in verzierter Barockkartusche//Gekrönter Doppeladler, auf der Brust zweifeldiges Wappen (Österreich/Lothringen). GOLD. Von größter Seltenheit. Min. gewellt, vorzüglich. (city of Regensburg, ducat of 1638, struck in the name of Ferdinand III. Obverse: the crossed city keys in an ornate baroque cartouche; reverse: crowned double headed eagle supporting the arms of Austria and Lorraine. Extremely rare, slightly wavy, extremely fine.)"
