Steve Album sale 51, lot 2905

This specimen was lot 2905 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "BAVARIA: Maximilian III Josef, 1745-1777, AR 20 kreuzer, 1755, Madonna and Child, details a bit weak, toned, VF-XF." This type was struck 1753-58 and 1763. One convention thaler was 120 kreuzer.

Recorded mintage: unknown but not common in nice condition.

Specifications: 6.68 g, 0.583 fine silver, 29 mm diameter.
