Schwarzburg 1606 thaler Dav-7677
This specimen was lot 1373 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €800 (about US$1,033 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWARZBURG-SONDERSHAUSEN, GRAFSCHAFT, SEIT 1697 FÜRSTENTUM Gemeinschaftlich mit Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt, 1605-1618. Reichstaler 1606, Erfurt. St. Martinstaler. Kl. Schrötlingsfehler am Rand, sehr schön. (Germany, county of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen, joint issue with Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt, "St. Martin's" thaler of 1606, Erfurt mint. Edge crack, very fine.)"
This type is recorded in the SCWC as joint coinage in 1606-09 for all the divisions of Schwarzburg, including -Sondershausen, -Rudolstadt and -Arnstadt. All are scarce to rare, tho this is the most available type for the first half of the seventeenth century.
