This specimen was lot 22109 in Heritage sale 3010 (Boston, August 2010), where it sold for $299. The catalog description[1] noted, "Rudolph II Taler 1605, VF, lightly cleaned. Hall mint. Overall, an excellent portrait of the Emperor." This particular type is listed for 1602-05 and closely related types with the portrait of Rudolf II were struck at Hall, Vienna and Graz until his death in 1612. For 1605, these types included Dav-3002, Dav-3005B, Dav-3005C and Dav-3307A.
