Sweden 1641-AG 4 mark
This specimen was lot 1232 in Sincona sale 69 (Zurich, May 2021), where it sold for 750 CHF (about US$996 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWEDEN. Christina, 1632-1654. 4 Mark 1641, Stockholm. Sehr schön. Prägeschwäche. (kingdom of Sweden, Christina, 1632-54, four mark of 1641, Stockholm mint. Very fine, Weakly struck.)"
Earlier four mark were 19.74 g, .821 fine; this scarce type of 1641-42, 1646 is heavier but lower in fineness, containing about the same amount of silver. The subsequent issues of the 1660's were 20.80 g, .694 fine silver.
