This specimen was lot 25165 in Heritage sale 3016 (Orlando, FL, January 2012), where it sold for $8,625. The catalog description[1] noted, "Queen Christina Riksdaler 1639, MS63 NGC, a most pleasing example of this rare type featuring a standing portrait of Christina, obverse variety with incomplete pearl ring. The strike is particularly sharp on the royal portrait and the surfaces display a lovely silvery gray sheen. Very rare type in this superior quality."
