This specimen was lot 11285 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €65 (about US$68). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 1/4 Öre, 1642. Nyköping & Säter Mint. Kristina. NGC AU-53 Brown. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck in large numbers 1637-42 at Säter, that mint being devoted to processing Swedish copper.

Recorded mintage: 7,138,560.

Specifications: 12.9 g, copper, 29.3 mm diameter, this specimen 11.31 g.
