Cuencame 1914 peso KM-620
This specimen was lot 11435 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $11,162. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Revolution. Durango, Cuencame. Peso, 1914. NGC MS-61. Legendary Six Star 'Muera Huerta'." The famous "Muera Huerta" (Death to the dictator Huerta) was issued in numerous varieties while the Villistas occupied Durango state. This is the rarest type.
