This specimen was lot 1793 in Sincona sale 38 (Zürich, May 2017), where it sold for 5,500 CHF (about US$6,596 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Ferdinand II. 1618-1637 5 Dukaten 1622 (im Stempel aus 1621 geändert). Wien Münzmeister Matthias Fellner, Wien 1619-1637. Sehr schön. Beschädigung auf Av. Kratzer. Randfehler. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand II, 1618-37, five ducats of 1622, Very fine. Damaged on obverse. Scratches. Rim nicks.)"
This type was struck in Vienna 1620-23 and all dates are rare; the overdate is not listed. Friedberg lumps all the five ducat pieces of Ferdinand II under Fr-152 despite the considerable variation in the busts of the emperor.
