This specimen was lot 70324 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. Cent, 1892. London Mint. Victoria. NGC MS-64 Brown. This handsome example exhibits a good strike displaying rich mottled brown patination with a decent amount of original mint red throughout." This type was struck 1876, 1881-1901 in large numbers. While the 1892 is not a high mintage date, it is not rare.
