Goldberg sale 74, lot 4123

This specimen was lot 4123 in Goldberg sale 74 (Los Angeles, June 2013), where it sold for $4,312.50 including buyer's fees. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Mexico. 20 Pesos, 1877-Mo M. Republic. Eagle. Reverse: Scales and Liberty Cap. Scarce date. NGC graded MS-63." The Mexico City mint was the largest producer of gold twenty pesos, striking them 1870-1905.
