This specimen was lot 5421 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabruck, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €500 (about US$696 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, FÜRSTENTUM. Heinrich Julius, 1589-1613. 1/4 Reichstaler 1599, Goslar. Hübsche Patina, sehr schön-vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung eines Ingenieurs. Exemplar der Slg. Carl Schwalbach, Leipzig, Auktion H. S. Rosenberg 18, Hannover 1913, Nr. 97; der Slg. Virgil M. Brand, Teil 5, Auktion Leu 70, Zürich 1997, Nr. 6093 und Exemplar der Auktion Westfälische Auktionsgesellschaft 15, Dortmund 2000, Nr. 736. (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, Henry Julius, 1589-1613, quarter thaler of 1599, Goslar mint. Handsome patina, very fine to extremely fine.)"

This type was struck 1594-99 along with MB 282 and MB 296.
