This specimen was lot 40643 in Ponterio sale 168 (Philadelphia, August 2012), where it sold for $1,265. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Papal States. Piastra, Year 9 (1700). PCGS Genuine--Mount Removed, EF Details Secure Holder. Innocent XII (1691-1700). Holy year, angels flanking holy door." This date is a one year type struck to honor the jubilee year of 1700. The piastra was the Italian equivalent of the German thaler.
