Netherlands 1915 gulden rev DSLR.jpg

This type, listed for 1910-17, superseded a similar type (KM 122.2) struck 1904-09 with a different hairstyle for the queen. Silver gulden were struck in the Netherlands until 1940 and for the government-in-exile at the Philadelphia mint 1944-45. Postwar issues were reduced weight. This type is common in worn condition but scarce nice.

Recorded mintage: 14,215,000.

Specification: 10 g, .720 fine silver, 28 mm diameter, lettered edge.

Catalog reference: KM 148, Sch-817.
