This specimen was lot 3551 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $166.60. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS: Wilhelmina, 1890-1948, AR gulden, 1914, KM-148, NGC graded MS63." This type, listed for 1910-17, superseded a similar type (KM 122.2) struck 1904-09 with a different hairstyle for the queen. Silver gulden were struck in the Netherlands until 1940 and for the government-in-exile at the Philadelphia mint 1944-45. Postwar issues were reduced weight. This type is common in worn condition but scarce nice.
