Sincona sale 67, lot 4265

This specimen was lot 4265 in Sincona sale 67 (Zurich, October 2020), where it sold for 75 CHF (about US$99 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"IRAN | Qajar Dynasty | Ahmad Shâh, 1327-1344 H./1909-1925 AD, Silver coinage. 1 Qiran 1337 H. On the 10th anniversary of enthronement. Bust half left between the words sikke-yi julûs-i - humâyûnî 10 / 13 - 27 on branches, name and title above, the date below, rev. lion and sun above value in wreath. Very fine."

This commemorative is a one year type. The regular issue (KM 1056) was minted AH 1331-1344.

Recorded mintage: 975,000.

Specification: 4.61 g, 0.900 fine silver, this specimen 4.69 g.
