This specimen was lot 239 in Sincona sale 84 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 23,000 CHF (about US$30,972 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUSSIA Russian Empire and Federation, 1/2 Kopeck 1876, Ekaterinburg Mint, EM. Extremely rare, especially in this quality. 15 roubles according to Petrov. 25 roubles according to Ilyin. Extremely fine-uncirculated. From the Soedermann Collection, auction SINCONA 19, Zürich, October 2014, lot 839 (price realized: CHF 50,000)."
This is a rare date of a type struck 1867-76. The Ekaterinburg mint closed in 1876.
