This specimen was lot 1763 in CGB sale 31 (Paris, June 2007). It is one of a series struck 1825-30 during the reign of Charles X of France (1824-30). This is an issue of the Toulouse mint which closed in 1836. It is scarce, as are most dates of this type.
Recorded mintage: 39,608.
Specification: 27 mm diameter, 10 g, 0.900 fine silver, edge lettered DOMINE SALVUM FAC REGEM. Designed by Auguste François Michaut, 1786-1879.
