The German state of Wolgast was occupied by Sweden during the Thirty Years' War and remained a dominion of Sweden until 1815. Nice surfaces, with good retention of details and charcoal toning in the protected areas." This commemorative was struck 1633-34 on the death of the Protestant hero Gustavus Adolphus.
