This specimen was lot 4797 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabruck, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €60 (about US$79 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH. Aufstand gegen Napoléon I. unter Andreas Hofer. 20 Kreuzer 1809, Hall. (Holy Roman Empire, revolt against Napoleon, led by Andreas Hofer, twenty kreuzer of 1809, Hall mint. Very fine or better.)"
This was minted at Hall by Tyrolean rebels against Napoleon, who had forced Austria to cede the Tyrol to Bavaria. The revolt received no support from Vienna and was eventually crushed and Hofer was executed. Regular Austrian twenty kreuzer (KM 2141) were struck at Vienna (A), Kremnitz (B), Prague (C), Salzburg (D), Karlsburg (E) and Günzburg (G) but not at Hall (F).
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 6.68 g, 0.583 fine silver, this specimen 6.59 g.
