Gurk 1806 20 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 1974 in Sincona sale 59 (Zürich, October 2019), where it sold for 100 CHF (about US$121 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA | Gurk, Bistum, Franz Xaver von Salm-Reifferscheid, 1784-1822. 20 Kreuzer 1806, Wien. Selten. Vorzüglich. Hübsche Patina. Mit Prägeglanz. (bishopric of Gurk, Francis Xavier of Salm-Reifferscheid, 1784-1822, twenty kreuzer of 1806, Vienna mint. Rare, Extremely fine, Attractively toned, Remaining mint luster.)"
Gurk, formerly the seat of a bishopric, lies in Carinthia. This twenty kreuzer accompanied a ducat (KM 3).
