This type was struck 1606-15 in Mansfeld-Eigentliche-Hinterort and is among the more common thalers of the period. Mansfeld-Eigentliche-Hinterort was a county of utmost insignificance except for its silver mines which provided the material for an abundance of thalers. Duke David ruled 1592-1628; the line went extinct in 1666.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: silver.
