Sincona sale 80, lot 2301

This specimen was lot 2301 in Sincona sale 80 (Zürich, October 2022), where it sold for 325 CHF (about US$390 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY | Empire | Württemberg, Königreich, Wilhelm II. 1891-1918. 10 Mark 1903 F, Stuttgart. Good extremely fine." This type, struck 1893-1913, is common.

Recorded mintage: 180,402 plus proofs.

Specification: 3.98 g, 0.900 fine gold, this specimen 3.97 g.
