This specimen was lot 12327 in Ponterio sale 177 (Chicago, August 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN. 2 1/2 Azadi, SH 1358 (1979). NGC MS-64. Reported mintage of 6 pieces, but more exist." This type was struck SH 1358 only. Gold half, one and five azadis also exist. The coins generally trade as bullion coins tho this one is rare.

Specification: 20.34 g, 0.900 fine gold.
