This specimen was lot 71090 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN. Azadi, SH1363 (1984). NGC MS-64. Good strike with soft satin luster." This type, struck SH 1363 only, was minted to the standard of a British sovereign. Gold quarter, half, 2½ and five azadis also exist. The coins generally trade as bullion coins.
