This specimen was lot 812 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $1,680. The catalog description[1] noted, "CZECH REPUBLIC: AR 200 korun, 1997, specimen issue, 100th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Czech Amateur Athletic Union and the Holding of the Oldest Race "Bechovice-Praha", PCGS graded Specimen 69, RR." Czechoslovakia split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1992. Other 200 korun for 1997 include KM 26 (first automobile in Europe), KM 27 (St. Adalbert) and KM 29 (Na Slovanech-Emauzy Monastery).
Recorded mintage: 16,514 plus 2,380 proofs (6,547 later melted).
Specification: 13 g, 0.900 fine silver, 31 mm diameter, reeded edge.
