This specimen was lot 11261 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €85 (about US$89). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 2 Öre, 1609. Stockholm Mint. Karl IX 1604-1611. NGC AU Details--Holed. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck at Stockholm 1608-11 the hole shown on this example is probably as struck. Other two öre (KM 35) were struck at Gothenburg with a different reverse. One riksdaler was 48 öre or six mark.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specifications: 1.58 g, 0.500 fine silver, 20-21 mm diameter, this specimen 1.35 g.
