This specimen was lot 11262 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €408 (about US$425). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 4 Mark, 1610. Stockholm Mint. Karl IX 1604-1611. NGC VF-30. Scratch and old ink inventory (208) on obverse. Variation with MEVM. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." One riksdaler was 48 öre or six mark. This type, struck 1607-11 in numerous varieties, traded for two-thirds of a riksdaler.
