This specimen was lot 3424 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €2,600 (about US$3,504 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. 1/4 Dukat 1752, NB, Nagybánya. GOLD. Von großer Seltenheit. Vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, Maria Theresia, 1740-80, quarter ducat of 1752, Nagybánya mint. Very rare, extremely fine.)"

This rare type was reissued in 1755.
