Sincona sale 94, lot 2133

This specimen was lot 2133 in Sincona sale 94 (Zurich, October 2024), where it sold for 1,600 CHF (about US$2,218 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"NIEDERLANDE Holland, Provinz, 2 Dukaten 1756, Dordrecht. Gutes sehr schön. (Netherlands, province of Holland, double ducat of 1756, Dordrecht mint. Good Very Fine.)"

This subtype of double ducat was struck 1749-93; the SCWC awards no premium for any date.
