This specimen was lot 3521 in Sincona sale 26 (Zürich, October 2015), where it sold for 1,400 CHF (about US$1,729 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Doppeldukat 1756. Vorzüglich. (Netherlands, province of Utrecht, double ducat of 1756, extremely fine.)"
This type was struck throughout the eighteenth century until 1794 but remains expensive.
